The West Chester Garden Club and The Garden Club of Wilmington invite you and your friends to a wine and cheese reception, a private tour and lecture by William Coleman.

Enjoy an evening talk, beginning promptly at 6:00pm, and explore with your friends a new exhibition at the Brandywine Museum of Art.  Every Leaf & Twig: Andrew Wyeth’s Botanical Imagination brings together a remarkable group of watercolors, most never before exhibited, that reflect the way this uniquely place-based American artist responded to individual specimens of southeastern Pennsylvania’s plant life. Not as a botanical illustrator but as an art historically literate visionary, Andrew Wyeth found in the ordinary plant life of Chadds Ford a point of departure for remarkable creations.

Proceeds from this evening support The Wild Garden, A GCA Flower Show, hosted by West Chester Garden Club and The Garden Club of Wilmington and our show partner, Winterthur Museum, Gardens and Library.  The Flower Show will be held on October 14-15, 2024 at Winterthur.
